    Description

Williamsburg Pottery Handcrafted Stoneware - Salt Glaze - Brown & Blue WPF 2000.  Condition is "Used".
This Williamsburg Pottery Handcrafted Bird House is all one piece and is incredibly solid. It has been used, but we have cleaned out all of the nesting material that was inside and rinsed thoroughly. Upon purchase, you may decide to give it a more thorough cleaning. We preferred not to use any kind of chemical as this is for birds to raise their young in, so we only used hot water. This birdhouse is in fantastic condition with no cracks, chips or flea bites. There are uniform white marks on the bottom around the edge that were, perhaps, made from sitting on some kind of stand or some kind of wire hanging apparatus, but that is just a guess. There is also the Williamsburg Pottery mark of "WPF 2000" on the back (see photos), though difficult to read. There is no "perch stick" with this bird house, though one could easily be made with a dowel. We have heard that it is better not to have one as other birds tend to use these perch sticks to raid nests... your choice of course. This is an awesome piece and perfect for small birds.
