VINTAGE wooden Raymond Bb Clarinet made in Paris France
Plays to lowest note on horn
Tested with tuner calibrated to A435 notes stayed consistently in tune through the basic C scale fingering
Wood is not dry (treated with bore oil)) no checks in body
Corks at connection joints are greased and in good shape. Horn is solid when assembled.
Comes with original vintage case with double handles, cleaning swab and weighted shammy to draw through instrument and clean bore.
I am not a clarinet player, I play saxophone, flute and recorder, so I have given the best description of its playability from my saxophone player's perspective and general woodwind knowledge.
To my ear the instrument sounds rich and warm, I always prefer wood to other materials for its natural feel and sound. This could just be subjective, but that's how I am.
