    Description

    Vintage Rare Early-1900s Ebony Leblanc Paris Bass Clarinet.
    Made just after Noblet was bought by Leblanc, but before Leblanc serialized their instruments (dating it to between 1904 to early 1960s). Instrument is in good working condition, plays with a rich, deep woody tone. Plays down to low Eb and up to high C in altissimo.
    About half of the pads have been replaced while I owned it. I kept it well oiled and tuned with yearly servicing. Keys have original silver plating, although it is starting to wear off in places. Neck tenon has an upgraded clamp from original design for better tuning, and also includes a marching-band style music stand mount.
    Neck strap mount has been added.
