    This vintage Bb clarinet is made of grenadilla wood and has nickel keys. The barrel is made of ebonite. All joints stamped Otterol and made in Paris, France. The serial number looks like 7649B. (Not sure of the last digit.)  Very thin and delicate keys and rings. Stylistically looks like it was manufactured in the 1930's to 1940's. There are no cracks. There appears to be a repaired crack in the bell. (The ring is tight and there is no chance that this crack will open.)  We just overhauled this lovely instrument in our shop. Plays beautifully with a quick attack and a bright colorful tone. Comes with the case shown which is used but still in good condition. The perfect step-up clarinet for advancing student, doubler or serious amateur. Plays at A=440. If you are looking for a wood clarinet for a great price here it is!
