  • Condition: These are all in good condition. They have been stored for years, in a box, in storage. The largest basket with the people measures 15 across, 3 are the same size at 12.5 inches, the deepest basket with the black stripes is 13 inches across and the mat that is colorful is 12.5 inches also. Nice collection, no broken weavings.

    Description

    This is a nice collection of African baskets. The measurements are in the condition section.  There are 6 baskets. These came from my Mom's estate. They were boxed up for years.  I think she purchased these at an auction, probably thought they were Native American, then boxed them up and forgot about them.  They are fine quality baskets, great for your collection or decor.
    Visit my other listings for more great estate items.  I am going through 70 plus years of accumulation as my Mom passed away at 90 of alzheimers.  She would purchases stuff and box it away to get rid of clutter, then forget about it.  Mom and dad were world travelers, collectors, and auction buffs, going as frequently as they could, and Mom, after Dad passed away would go to auctions several times a week in the scottsdale/phoenix area, looking for the deal!
