    Description

    Vintage Bayei and Hambukushu lidded African Basket from Ngamiland, Botswana. All natural colors constructed of woven palm in the Knees of the Toutoise pattern. Overall in very nice orginal vintage condition with minor wear typical of age and use. The lid knob does have some fraying and there is one small area on the side of the basket that looks to have touched wet paint, very minor. The bottom is in great condion and the overall weaving is extraordinary. Also included are the orginal papers that came with the piece supporting its origin and history of the tribe. A fairly large basket measuring 14" D x 14" H. Item is being sold as pictured. UPS Ground Shipping will be calculated per destination zip code.
