    Description

    Vintage African Tribal Hand Made Woven Lidded Basket
    This wonderful old storage basket was found years ago at a fine old Massachusetts estate.
    It measures about 4.75 inches wide and 4 inches tall.
    The basket and lid appear to be made of woven grasses that spiral all around to form the shape.
    The well-formed base slants down on an angle from the wide sides.
    The lid is cone-shaped.
    Inside is clean-smelling.
    Note a few 'breaks' in the weaving.
    I love the old colors and designs.
    It is old and worthy of a fine basket collection.
    Comes from smoke free household.
