Flower Care and Upkeep
Before shipping your bouquets, your fresh flowers are prepared for their journey following proper hydration methods. It is completely normal for your flowers to appear sleepy and thirsty once they arrive. Just follow the below steps for proper rehydration and to ensure the flowers last as long as possible:
Add the included flower food to a clean vase and fill with room temperature water
Using a sharp knife or scissors, make a 45 degree angle cut at least 1/2 inch from the end of the stems and place in the vase
Change water and re-cut stems approximately every 3 days
Make sure to remove any foliage that falls below the waterline of your vase. Leaves will rot and cause bacteria to form that shortens your flower's life
Avoid placing flowers in direct sunlight or near fruits and vegetables
