    AFRICAN TONGA or BATONGA WINNOWING BASKET! With a 13” diameter (13” across). Used for getting the chaff off of corns, malts and Barleys or like the Native American Tribes around Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin used their very similar Winnowing baskets, for getting the tough, hard chaff off of Wild Rice! These baskets were and still are to this day, made by the females of the Batonga Tribe who live in the boarder country between Zambia and Zimbabwe. I know! Right!!! UNacceptable, yes?!Should we cancel them? Maybe quit buying the baskets until Batonga men are allowed to make the baskets too! Shipped with USPS’ First Class Mail
