    A large, beautifully crafted basket made of electrical wire. A signature craft of South Africa, these baskets were originally made of bits of telephone wire, carefully saved by repair technicians. Now, the baskets are an art form in their own right. This basket measures 9" across at the top and 2 1/2" across at the bottom. It is 6" high. The weave is tight and even.
