    Description

    Wonderful small braided and coiled basket measures about 4 tall from base to the tip of the handle, and 6" x 5" on the oval base. Beautifully decorated with red green and natural straw, possibly sweet grass,the basket features an unusual "H" shaped handle which is stiff, and does not bend. Purchased years ago at an estate sale, we knowing nothing of the basket's origins, when or where it was made, but it is certainly not new.In very good, as found estate condition, there is some slight fading to the colors, but no damages or losses.
    A fine little addition to a basket collection, the piece is offered with out reserve.
