RARE Franklin Mint Porcelain Princess Diana in Black Dress Prototype Doll 17"

Hello.
You are bidding on a nice, and impossible to find, true one of a kind doll. A recent purchase from the liquidation of the archives of the Franklin Mint's storage facility in southeastern Pennsylvania, which had many of their pre-production, prototypes, and early work ups of future products from dolls to toys and more. This is a prototype doll, a production sample doll with the blank number line on the back shoulders and the green Mint tag that states that this is an extremely rare REJECT version because the jewelry, which is also included, doe not fit. These versions are typically destroyed immediately, but this one survived with the tag for proof. Porcelain  head, shoulders, jointed arms and legs with cloth body, ornate,wide bottom, glitter dress, Princess Diana doll in the pictures. 17 1/4 inches tall.  This prototype or preproduction doll, looks identical or close to the ones that were released. Excellent shape with no damage, a few light marks on the arm to clean off, no wear or other issues seen. Zoom in for details.
