antique framed pennellograph tintypes of a young woman and a man presumed to be her father or husband.
A pennellograph is a hand coloring technique applied to a tintype.
The frames are matching
Walnut Wood with applied Gold Gilt decorative edges. Images are sealed to the glass with paper labels from L H Newell, Philadelphia PA. Patent 1875.
The images are in good to excellent condition with some crackling on the man/. Very unsual to find a matching pair.
