    Description

    You are purchasing an M. L. Studtman original birdhouse. The birdhouse is in the form of a Ducks Unlimited Clubhouse. As can be seen in the photographs, the clubhouse (birdhouse) is adorned with the accessory items that one might find on a full sized Ducks Unlimited Clubhouse. This piece is signed on the back by M. L. Studtman and  dated 2000. There is also an additional number (2985) on the back of the clubhouse. I am not sure what this number actually means. The clubhouse also has a brass tag attached that reads M.L. Studtman Original Made in U.S.A. ( see photograph 3 ) . One wall of the clubhouse shows a crack ( see photograph 12 ). I am not sure if this crack developed over time or was an original part of Studzman's artistic design. This was purchased at a highend estate sale. The previous owner was a hunter and collector who probably had this birdhouse on display in his "manroom" as it shows no signs of having ever been outdoors.
