    Description

    The driver wears a long warm coat, holds the reins, and stands in a cart with a giant load of hay. Note the vertical pole stuck in the hay. There’s a laterally reversed MEAT MARKET sign, which appears to have fallen, leaning on the fence behind. To the right of that, there’s a ladder up against a wall. One senses there’s a lot of activity in the vicinity.
    SIZE. Approximately 2 1/2 x 4 inches.
    CONDITION. Light bends, mostly on the periphery. Some light scratches.
    APPEARANCE. Strong three-dimensional quality. Nice composition.
