    Description

    Original tintype, post mortem boy in chair, early-1860s, sixth-plate in half of its original case behind mat and cover glass.
    Very good or better antique condition as far as damage goes, with no bends. The image itself looks a bit shadowy in my indoor office lighting, but the details improve a lot in bright light or daylight...pic #1 was taken with my cell phone, using FLASH, and uploaded directly to this listing with NO editing or enhancing of any kind. Pic #2 is a scan. If  you anticipate this image will look somewhere in between Pic 1 and Pic 2 you will not be disappointed.
