On May 1st, 1993...which just so happened to  be the 1st Saturday in May, Jerry Bailey rode the
magnificent
stallion, Sea Hero to win the 119th Running of the Kentucky Derby.
This glass which measures approximately 5.25"H, is a great
souvenir
, not only of the 119th Derby but all other years and winners are also listed on this glass.
Although Sea Hero will never go down as one of the all time greats who won the Kentucky Derby, for his trainer, it was the most satisfying.
Sea Hero is the oldest living Kentucky Derby winner still living today at age 28.
