Antique Warner Italian Plated Field Clarinet 34707 Serial Number w/ Case

Item up for bid is a wonderful antique clarinet marked "Warner" with a marking that reads "Made in Italy" followed by a serial number of 34707. Item was found in it's original hard case that shows interior and exterior soiling from age with some paint residue on the exterior and tarnish on the brass hardware. Clarinet shows heavy tarnish across the body. Mouthpiece with a connecting piece that holds the mouthpiece to the main body of the instrument was found in the case and will be included. Plastic mouthpiece is unmarked and has no reed present. Buyer should assume that all cork and / or pads will need to be replaced. Bell shows a few dents in the metal with no bending to the rim and some light spots of oxidation on the interior. Connecting piece between the mouthpiece and main body of the instrument is much brighter than the main body of the instrument and looks to be constructed of a different non plated metal. We thought this might be an add on but brief research showed this piece was original to the instrument. Clarinet without mouthpiece and connector attached measures 21-3/8" top to bottom by 3-1/8" x 3-1/8" across the bell. Case is 5" top to bottom by 24" wide by 3-5/8" in depth.
