    Description

Despite the price tag, this is not one of those prank Billy The Kid listings.  This is a perfectly genuine listing of an antique tintype photo (suggested c. 1876 - 1880) to draw comments and feedback from both investors, historians and librarians around the US or worldwide in the interests of US national importance. This tintype shows what I truly believe are
3 very famous characters (as young men) of the old American Wild West.
Here is my suggestions as to who the individuals pictured are (which I invite for all comments whether affirmative or not):
    Three Men Trio:
    Left to Right:
    Left
    Middle
    Right
    Jim French
    Jose Chavez y Chavez
    Billy The Kid
The 4th photo is a comparison photo between the known definite photo of the Kid (on left) and the 'Kid' in this tintype for sale (on right) - (Note: both photos contain the same bandana, different hat but Kid typical odd style hat nonetheless, and also the same right eye being slightly lower than the left eye).
The 5th photo shows whom I believe to be Jose Chavez y Chavez with the Kid.  If you check out my other listing of the 5 men Regulators group tintype, you will see the same Chavez in that one too !  I personally think that identifying Chavez will be a key thing in order to lock down identification of the others including the Kid and Jim French.
With my other listing for sale
of the 5 men Regulators group tintype
, I have great faith in locking down Brewer and Salazar in that tintype as they are the spitting images of the known and verified versions of them both.
So I am reaching out to all the known antique photo facial recognition experts, historians and librarians across US and indeed worldwide to comment on this tintype and my other tintype for sale
of the 5 men Regulators group.
I am up for receiving both affirmative and non-affirmative comments if the latter is indeed warranted.
These 2 tintypes could well be of US national importance.
Indeed, as there are also no known photos of Big Jim French (see close up in penultimate image attached), this could be another reason to express your thoughts on the individuals shown in this tintype.
If these individuals are indeed who I say they are, then the m price tag is about correct !
Anyway, thanks for your time in viewing this fascinating listing of 3 very famous Wild West characters (and also my other listing).
