Antique / Slave Era 1860s Tintype Photo Teenage African American Girl

Description

Original early-1860s tintype behind mat and cover glass in half of a case. Very good antique condition with light age related spots and/or discoloration, otherwise fine, with some small mat abrasions, and no bends. The dark horizontal line in my close up (pic 1) appears to be a scratch on the outside of the glass. Pic 1 was taken with flash to reduce room light and reflections.
