    Description

    Vintage African  Basket~Woven Large Basket Bowl~Fishing, Fanner?~Sieve
    15" x 3" deep.  EXCELLENT CONDITION.  No stains, holes, tears, frays.  Some raffia is missing on the rim in a couple places.
    This basket is from the collection of my former mother-in-law, Eleanor Wolters. It's my understanding that she acquired this basket in the 1950s. Eleanor had an extensive collection of artifacts--masks, scuptures, baskets--from many countries and ethnicities. She was an award-winning artist and understood the value of properly caring for artifacts and artwork.  Many of the baskets I am listing on eBay are in excellent condition because of this care.
    I will discount prices for multiple purchases and, combine shippling when possible.
